Slowly but surely, we’ve been replacing the winter shoes on our shoe rack with footwear more suited for spring and summer. As the boots and fuzzy moccasins find their way back into storage, the flip flops, sandals and lightweight sneakers are coming out to play. There’s one more type of shoe we need for the months ahead though, and that’s a flat!
You need to be careful when choosing flats for warm weather though. Some can make your feet pretty sweaty, and you definitely don’t want a pair that’s going to lead to any funky smells. You want a pair that’s comfortable and breathable, and even if better if you can dress it up or down to wear for a variety of occasions. This Journee Collection flat is exactly the type we’re talking about!
These flats are all about keeping your feet happy — but they don’t sacrifice style to do so. They’re way cute! They have a vegan, suede-like upper, but there are cooling perforations all over for major added breathability. The lining is made from a breathable material too. And obviously, you’ll want to go sock-free in these!
These slip-on shoes have an almond toe and feature stretchy goring at both sides of the instep to keep them moving comfortably with your feet as you walk. This also makes taking them on and off an easy task. They’re so comfortable though, you may choose to leave them on as often as possible. They have a 4mm Comfort Foam™ footbed inside!
These shoes come in six colors: black, blue, brown mustard yellow, pink and white. All except for the pink are marked down to $55 right now, though the pink one is just $5 more, so don’t feel guilty if it’s your favorite! You’re getting free shipping anyway, so you’re already saving in that sense!
These are easily the type of flats you can grab for everyday occasions, wearing them with frayed denim shorts and a T-shirt or wide leg jeans and a cute blouse, but you can dress them up a bit too! They could be a good choice for an outdoor wedding when heels don’t agree with the terrain, or for dancing comfortably after the ceremony is over. They’re definitely office-friendly as well. We’d definitely wear them with slacks, a button-up and a chic blazer!
